Customs officials have seized 14 gold biscuits from a passenger who disembarked at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport here.
The gold biscuits, weighing 16.31 gm, have a street value of 47.82 lakh approximately. They were seized from the passenger who alighted from a Jet Airways flight from Dhaka yesterday, a Customs official said today.
The man, who was apprehended yesterday, was produced at a Barrackpore court today.
