Fourteen people, including 10 students, were injured when a school bus carrying them hit a UP government bus in Indirapuram area here this evening.
According to police, the incident took place around 4 PM near UP Gate when a bus of Global International School, situated in Section 71 in Noida, hit from behind after the Uttar Pradesh Roadways bus suddenly slammed the brakes.
There were 14 people -- 10 students, two teachers, a driver, and a helper -- in the bus, who were going home after the school, they said, adding the injured students have been identified as Yadhuvanshi, Ira, Anishka, Pooja, Keshan, Aadi, Arjun, Charvi, Adniye and Shanskar.

All the injured were rushed to nearby Pushpanjali Hospital where they were soon discharged after giving first-aid.
"The roadways bus was moving at a high speed when the driver suddenly applied the brakes at UP Gate after which school bus driver Pushpendra hit it from behind," said a police officer.
The students and teachers suffered injuries on their heads, legs and hands, and they were rushed to nearby Pushpanjali Hospital, where they were discharged after first-aid.
Pushpendra, his helper and two teachers also suffered injuries but they were discharged soon from the hospital, he said, adding the Roadways driver managed to run away from the spot after the accident.
