A 14-year boy was killed and another was injured in a hit and run case at Jagatpur in Howrah district today.
Irate locals blocked the NH 6 for one and half hour in protest against the incident.
The boy was crossing the road along with a companion when they were run over by thhe truck which escaped from the spot.
A big police force and RAF later lifted the blockade.
