Top Indian professionals will be seen in action in the four-day 14th Tata Open Golf, which will tee off here from December 17 at the Golmuri Golf course.
The Rs 75 lakhs prize purse event will be preceded by Pro-Am, to be played tomorrow, said Kulvin Suri, Chief (Corporate Services) of Tata Steel and Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) Director, Uttam Singh Mundy.
Altogether 115 golfers from across the country, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will vie for top honors during the tournament, which will be hosted for the first time in the 18-holes Golmuri course unlike the previous editions of 9-holes at Beldih course and 9-holes at Golmuri course.

The tournament will feature some of the top Indian golf professionals like Abhijit Singh Chada, ranked 2nd in the PGTI's 2015 Rolex Ranking, Mukesh Kumar, Udayan Mane, defending champion Om Prakash Chouhan, Shankar Das, Shamim Khan and Ashok Kumar.
Top foreign players in the field are Sri Lanka's Anura Rohana, K Prabagaran and N Thangaraja, Kunal Bhasin of Australia, Nepal's Shivaram Shrestha and Bangladesh's Md Zamal Hossain Mollah.
The local challenge will be led by Jamshedpur's Karan Taunk, who won the PGTI Emerging Player of the Year title in 2014. Taunk was the runner-up at the 12th edition of the tournament.
