Andhra Pradesh Minister Deveneni Umamaheswara Rao has said the state government has kept a target to educate 15.60 lakh families in East Godavari district on issues related to hygiene.
The Water Resources Minister yesterday said "collective effort was essential to control mosquitoes, which are casing dreadful dengue,malaria and other diseases".
The AP government aims to educate 5 crore population of the state on health and hygiene, the Minister added.
He appealed public to keep every house free from stagnated water.
