An animal cub was today rescued from a forest near Gangapur in Odisha's Ganjam district, forest officials said.
Believed to be aged around 15 days, the cub is too small to identify weather it is a leopard or a wild cat, Divisional Forest Officer (Ghunusara South), Bijay Ketan Acharya said.
The area falls under the Baragada Forest Range. It is not known as to how the cub got separated from its mother.
