15 employees suspended for dereliction of duty in Doda

Fifteen employees of various government departments were suspended for remaining absent from their duties in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

District Development Commissioner (DDC) and Additional District Commissioner (ADC), Doda, conducted surprise inspection of various government offices in the district yesterday, officials said here today.

The inspection was conducted with a view to ensure smooth functioning of various departments and punctuality of officers and officials, they said.

During inspection, they found 15 employees of various departments, including education, Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Horticulture, absent from duty, they said.

The absentee employees were placed under suspension pending enquiry into the matter, they said.
