In its drive against corrupt employees in Punjab, sleuths of vigilance bureau have arrested fifteen officers for allegedly accepting bribe, an official spokesman said here today.
"15 officials of the Punjab government were held by the sleuths of vigilance bureau last month for allegedly accepting bribe," the spokesperson said.
Besides, the bureau also registered two criminal cases in June. One case of disproportionate assets was also registered against an officer, he said.
He said that all these officers were booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988.
