15-yr-old boy drowns in Yamuna in UP

One teenaged boy drowned here in Yamuna River today after he had entered into it for a swim, police said.

Two other teenaged boys were rescued while one drowned at Krishna Ganga Ghat falling under Govind Nagar Police Station, they said.

"During bathing one of them slipped into deep water. When his two friends tried to rescue him, they too started drowning", police said.

People then rushed in and all the three were pulled out.

"15-year-old Rahul Khan was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead", police said, adding the condition of the other two is normal.
