15th Siliguri International Film Festival inaugurated

Director Kaushik Ganguly and North Bengal Development minister Goutam Dev today inaugurated the 15th Siliguri International Film Festival here.

The festival, which will screen 17 films from 11 countries, will continue till November 26.

The package includes three Bengali films including Ganguly's recently released Khaad.

Ganguly, who called for making people of this commercial hub, having recently seen a boom in shopping malls, more oriented towards their heritage and culture.

The venue of the festival was state-run Dinbandhu Manch.
