16 convicted for killing social activist

A local court today held 16 people guilty in the killing of Sister Valsa Joan in 2011 here.

District and Sessions Judge Omprakash Srivastav, who convicted the 16 accused in the case, will pronounce the quantum of sentence against them on October 16.

Sister Valsa, a social activist, was brutally killed around midnight on November 15, 2011 at Kathaldih village under Amrapada police station of this district.
