16 missing children traced in Haryana

Haryana police today claimed to have rescued 16 missing children in Panchkula district under 'Muskan', a campaign to trace missing kids.

The police teams formed in the district have successfully traced 16 children from various places under the campaign which was launched on July 1, a spokesperson of the police department said.

Out of the traced children, eight of them were reunited with their parents, he said.

Out of the eight children, five were found by Mansa Devi Complex police station, one child was found from Kalka police station area and two from Chandimandir police station area, he said.

Rest of the eight children, whose parents could not be traced, were sent to Bal Sadan in Sector 2, he said.
 

The parents of these children would be traced soon and the children would be handed over to them, the spokesperson added.
