: A total of 16 riders took part in IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Hunt here to identify, select and mentor young riders to enable them compete in national and international racing competitions.
The talent hunt conducted by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Limited kicked off in Bengaluru last month and will also be held in Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Aizwal, Delhi NCR, Bhopal, Vadodara, Pune and Coimbatore, a press release said.
It provides a platform to aspiring racers to showcase their potential and nurture their skills, the release added.
"With a dream to represent India in the world Grand Prix Racing, this platform is the beginning of a clear development path and structured approach to nurture riders from a young age," the company's Vice-President (Brand & Communication) Prabhu Nagaraj said.
The shortlisted candidates would be trained at the Honda 10Ten Racing Academy on July 30 and would later compete in the IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup 2018 (Round-3) - CBR 150R Novice category at Sriperumbudur near here.
