A 16-year-old Dalit girl was today allegedly raped by her neighbour at Lala village, 17 km from here, police said.
According to a complain by the victim's father, the accused, Harish, who is also Dalit, entered the house when his daughter was alone and allegedly raped her, police said.
The girl's medical examination was conducted here today at civil hospital, they said.
An FIR has been registered in the matter, they said, adding that efforts are on to nab the accused.
