Eighteen persons, including some students and a software engineer were caught by Rachakonda police from different localities here on charge of eve teasing over the past two weeks, police said today.
According to Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat of the 18, five of them including two students and a software engineer were arrested under sections of the IPC while the remaining 13 were counselled infront of their family members and let off.
The five arrested youths were accused of harassing, stalking girls/women in the name of love for past several months, Bhagwat said, adding 13 eve teasers were caught by the 'SHE Teams' decoy operations.
