Silver ingots valued at Rs ten lakh were stolen from a house here today, police said.
The house owner, a silver anklets manufacturer, had gone out in the morning but his wife forgot to lock the house from the inside, and was sleeping.
When she woke up, she found the doors open and informed her husband who then checked if any valuables were missing.
It was then that he found 18 kg of silver ingots out of 30 kg kept inside, were missing, police said.
