At least 18 people were killed and three others injured today after a rainstorm-triggered wall collapse in Qingdao city in east China's Shandong Province, local officials said.
An earth-retaining wall collapsed and fell onto a makeshift house for staff at a processing site of a Shandong renewable resource company, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The wall collapsed due to waterlogging after a rainstorm.

Three injured persons have been sent to receive medical treatment.
