Altogether 18 nominations were filed for the third and final phase of polls to four Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam till Tuesday, an election office spokesperson said.
Seven candidates have filed for Dhubri, four for Kokrajhar (ST), two for Barpeta and five for Gauhati parliamentary constituencies.
In Dhubri, Shahjahan Sheikh of Voters Party of India (VPI), Surat Jaman Mondal of SUCI(C) and Mehbubar Rahman of Republican Party of India (A) filed their nominations while sitting AIUDF MP Badruddin Ajmal, AITC's Nurul Islam Choudhury and independents Asrof Ali and Selina Sultana had filed their papers earlier.
In Kokrajhar, sitting independent MP Naba Sarania, Assam's Social Welfare Minister of BPF and CPI(M)'s Biraj Deka submitted their papers while VPI's Rajesh Narzary had filed his papers earlier.
In Barpeta, TMC's Esahak Ali Dewan and SUCI's Chitralekha Das filed their papers today.

In Gauhati, Bharatiya Gana Parishad's Dr Avijit Chakraborty and Swarna Bharat Party's Pankaj Das filed their nominations today while BJP's Queen Oja, her rival Bobbeeta Sharma of the Congress and TMC's Manoj Sharma had filed their nominations earlier.
The constituencies going to polls in the last phase on April 23 are Gauhati, Barpeta, Dhubri and Kokrajhar (ST).
The previous phases of polls will be held on April 11 and 18.
