Charan Singh, a resident of Hasanpur village in Gautam Buddh Nagar, along with his family had gone to Bulandshahr to attend a funeral ceremony of a relative, SSP Gulab Singh said.
The matador met with the accident near Jainpur village injuring 18 members of the family, he said.
The injured were admitted to a hospital where their condition was stated to be critical, the SSP said.
