State-owned SAIL today said its eighteen employees have bagged the prestigious Prime Minister Shram Award for the year 2016.
In total, 50 employees working in departmental undertakings, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and private sector units have won the coveted award for the year 2016, SAIL said in a statement.
"Eighteen employees of SAIL's Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) have brought laurels to the Company by bagging the prestigious Prime Minister Shram Award for the year 2016," Steel Authority of India (SAIL) said.
It is a matter of pride that more than one third of them are from SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). Besides, two out of the three women employees who have won the award belong to RSP.
