An 18-year-old girl caused a flutter today when she jumped from the first floor of the all women police station near here.

Police said the girl broke her leg and has been admitted to a private hospital.

The girl was reportedly upset over the police probe into her relationship with a boy, her relative.

Police said they had 'secured' her from the relative's house following a complaint from her parents that she was missing and had been abducted by the boy.

Police were questioning the girl when she ran up the stairs to the first floor and jumped down, breaking her leg, they said.

A case has been registered.
