Around 180 school students fell ill after consuming iron folic tablets before midday meals on Tuesday, official sources said.
The incident took place at ZPHS Dharmaram of Geesukonda mandal in the district created panic in the school campus.
The tablets were given to these school children under the Jawahar Arogya Bala Suraksha Scheme.

Around 180 students who consumed the tablets before meals, fell ill with stomachache as well as drowsiness and were sent to MGM Hospital in Warangal town.
Regional Medical Officer Nageshwar Rao rushed to the hospital and sent students to its emergency unit for diagnosis.
Rao told reporters that the students are being treated as outpatients.
He said that turmeric and tomato in the student's midday meals had reacted with iron folic tablets and there is no need to worry.
