A 19-year-old nursing student was found dead today in her hostel room here, police said.
The girl, Veena was found hanging from the ceiling fan using her dupatta, they said, adding the reason could not be ascertained as no suicide note was found.
Veena was a resident of Ludhiana and was pursuing auxiliary nursing midwifery course in Ramgarhia Nursing College here, police said.
They said her body was found hanging when the hostel authorities opened her room.
The body was handed over to her family after postmortem.
