A 19-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his room in the Civil Lines area here, police said Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Deepesh Rabari, a native of Bairwa village in Banswara district of Rajasthan, said Ashok Kumar, ASI at the Nayapura police station.
The exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained, the police said.
The man had come to Kota about six months ago and had recently taken admission in class 9 at a school here, Kumar said.
The family members of the deceased were informed about the incident, he added.
