The body of a 19-year-old woman was today found hanging inside her house at Baruipur in South 24 Parganas district, police said.
Aparna Roy, a 2nd year college student, was using her brother's headphone to sing songs this morning when her brother wanted it back.
Aparna said she would return it very soon and after sometime gave the headphone back to her brother, a class XI student, police said.
Soon after, her brother found her hanging from a ceiling fan with the help of a dopatta.
The siblings' father was not at home at that time but their mother was there, police said.
The body was sent for postmortem.
