1Crowd invests $300,000 in Nanosniff

Nanosniff Technologies, an IIT Bombay incubated company, has raised Rs 2 crore (about USD 300,000) from 1Crowd and its investor community.

Nanosniff is a deep technology company working on high impact offerings in MEMS domain with applications in healthcare and security markets.

It had previously raised an undisclosed amount from a group of angel investors.

"Nanosniff is an exemplary case where genuine IP has been created from robust R&D to address healthcare and security markets," 1Crowd co-founder Anil Gudibande said in a statement.

OYO partners with Ola Money to enable seamless payment * Online budget network of hotels OYO has partnered with Ola Money to enable customers to make payments for their hotel rooms through the latter's mobile wallet.
 

The integration will also let customers pre-book an Ola cab while booking a hotel across OYO's network of 7,000 hotels.

"The experience complements our three-tap booking flow and the option to pre-book an Ola cab will further enhance the value proposition for the customer," OYO Vice President Growth and Marketing Vishal Jain said.

Anuj Sahai, Vice President (Alliances) at Ola said the partnership with OYO widens its user base and creates a holistic ecosystem that enables greater convenience in payment.

MobiKwik partners Hathway Digital Cable TV * Mobile wallet company MobiKwik today said it has partnered with Hathway, a digital cable TV provider, that will enable consumers to pay their bills in a cashless manner.

The association will enable customers of Hathway Digital cable in paying their bills within seconds using MobiKwik app, MobiKwik said in a statement.

"Apart from enhancing customer experience, this partnership also benefits our entire local cable operators' (LCO) community considering it reduces the difficulties of cash collections faced by them," Hathway Video Business CEO T S Panesar said.

MobiKwik serves over 1.5 million merchants and more than 55 million users in the country.
GST billing site CountMagic.Com adds over 17,000 new customers

* GST billing platform CountMagic.Com today said it has added 17,692 new customers within a fortnight of its launch.

It offers stock uploading and statement generating options.

"35 per cent of our total registrations have come from retailers, 20 per cent from accountants, CAs and tax advocates and rest from traders and small businesses," it said in a statement.

Rshmi Khetrapal, Founder, CountMagic, said it plans to organise seminars across north India to educate businesses about the benefits offered by the firm.
