As many as 107 pilots from 15 countries took part in the first Indian National Open Accuracy Paragliding Championship at Bir-Billing,60 kms from here today.
Nine women paragliders, including three Indians, two Russians and one each from South Africa, Italy, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey will compete in the four-day international meet.
One has to complete at least three of a total of four tasks assigned during the course of the competition, Jyoti Thakur, director of the event, said.
The weather condition is absolutely fine for the sport here, she said, adding that the task for the day is 'Bullseye landing'.
