Customs sleuths today seized
2.92 kg charas from the riverine Ravidas tola under Kharaiya police outpost area near Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's East Champaran district.
Acting on a tip off, a Customs team arrested two smugglers carrying a consignment of 2.92 kg charas from near Sarisabha river, Customs Assistant Commissioner R K Singh said.

Upon seeing the Customs sleuths, the smugglers abandoned the bag containing the charas and swam back to the Nepalese side, he said.
The value of the seized consignment was worth about Rs 30 lakh, Singh added.
