Two Afghan nationals were detained from a restricted area near the India-Pak border in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan today, the police said.
The Afghans were on a tourist visa and entered an area restricted for foreign nationals in Mohangarh, Additional Superintendent of Police, CID (Jaisalmer), Rajeev Dutta said.
They had come to Jaisalmer on November 9 and were selling some medicines, he said.
"They will be interrogated by intelligence agencies," the officer added.
