A Bill Collector was trapped by ACB when he was allegedly taking bribe of Rs 30,000 in return of official favour to complainant in East Godavari district today.
Narukurthi Krishna, Bill Collector,47th Division, Kakinada, was caught by sleuths near Indira Gandhi statue in Kakinada for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 30,000, the agency stated in a release.
The bribe money was recovered and the procedure is on to arrest Krishna.

In another case, Sub-Registrar of Chintalapudi in West Godavari district was caught by ACB officials when he was allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a complaint for doing official favour.
Repalle Venkatabala Gopalakrishna was caught in his office room. The bribe amount was recovered from him and he is being arrested, the release stated.
