Two men have been arrested for allegedly duping a person of Rs 80,000 on the pretext of providing a job in the aviation sector, police said today.

S Suneel, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, filed a police complaint alleging that a 28-year-old man Kamal Arora took Rs 80,000 from him on the pretext of providing him a job in Air India at Indira Gandhi International Airport, said Sanjay Bhatia, DCP (Airport).

A fake interview of the complainant was also conducted to win his confidence, added the officer.

After Arora had taken Rs 80,000 from Suneel, he stopped responding to the victim's calls, he said.

Arora was arrested along with his accomplice Anshul Mishra (28) and the entire sum of money was recovered, he added.

Both the accused were arrested on February 28.

Arora was previously employed at IGI Airport and Mishra was working at a job consultancy firm in Hari Nagar that catered to companies at the airport.
