Two persons were arrested with 46 grams of heroin at Keitum village in central Mizoram district of Serchhip today, Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department said.
The department spokesman said that JH Lalhmingthanga (27) and Vanlalrochhunga (27) were arrested for possession of the contraband worth around Rs 1.5 lakh in the local market.
The two accused were booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and were produced before the Special Court (ND and PS Act) who remanded them to judicial custody.
