2 arrested for robbing man of his e-rickshaw, mobile phones

Two persons have been arrested for allegedly robbing a man of his e-rickshaw and mobile phone after making him sniff an intoxicating substance in northwest Delhi's Rani Bagh area, police said today.

On March 15, an e-rickshaw driver, Shubham Sharma, filed a complaint alleging that a man hired his vehicle for putting up posters in Rani Bagh area for the entire day for Rs 800, police said.

The person then made him sniff something, following which he lost consciousness.

The accused then dumped Sharma on the roadside and took away the erickshaw and his mobile phone, police said.

After an FIR was lodged, the call detail records of the victim's phone were studied and police managed to trace the number of the accused, they added.
 

The accused, Rajesh and Kishan Kal have been arrested, police said.
