2 arrested for selling duplicate LED televisions

Police today arrested two persons for allegedly selling duplicate LED televisions using name of a private company.

The accused were identified as Gaurav Arora and Tilak Raj, police said.

The duo were arrested on a secret information that the two persons were doing illegal business of duplicate LEDs of an international company by purchasing these from Delhi and selling it here in the city.

"They use to purchase of LEDs from Delhi and sell the same to innocent persons by pasting stickers of the Company," police said.

They were arrested during a check, police said, adding eight duplicate LEDs were recovered from their possession. Fifteen LEDs were also recovered on their instance. A case has been registered, police added.
