A gold chain was snatched from an elderly woman allegedly by two bike-borne persons at Desh Bandhu Gupta Road area of central Delhi, police said.
Renuka Khandelwal (74), a resident of Ramjas Road, was returning from a temple when two youths riding a motorcycle snatched her gold chain, they said.
As they were speeding away, the woman raised an alarm and tried to run after them but fell on the road and got injured, a senior police officer said.
A case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the culprits, the officer said.
