Two persons, including a local BJP leader, were killed and six other party workers injured when their jeep collided with a tractor-trolley owing to dense fog here, police said today.
Veer Singh Jadoun, a divisional level leader of BJP, and other party workers were returning to Sabalgarh from Morena last night after meeting state party unit president Narendra Singh Tomar when the mishap occurred due to poor visibility at Kutarwali road near here, they said.
Jadoun and another party worker Makardwaj Bhadouria died on the spot following the head-on collision of the two vehicles.
Six other party workers suffered serious injuries and were admitted to the Morena district hospital.
A case was registered in this regard and further probe was on.
