2 booked for duping 3 on pretext of providing jobs in Railways

Two persons were booked for allegedly taking Rs 4.50 lakh in a fraudulent manner from three people on the promise of giving jobs to their sons in railways.

Accused were identified as Rahul and Lakhbir Singh, police said today.

Waryam Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Kulbas Singh had complained that the accused had taken Rs 4.50 lakh from them for giving employment to their children, police said.

Accused had even issued letter of appointments to victims and when they got it checked, it turned out to be fake, they said.

Case has been registered against accused, police said adding that a team of officials had been formed to nab them.
