Two warring brothers were among three members of a family who were killed allegedly in a clash over parking in northwest Delhi's Model Town, police said today.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the matter, they said.

The incident occurred last night when the two brothers, Jaspal Singh (52) and Gurjeet Singh (48), who were having a long-standing tiff over parking and property, got into a fight for parking space, the police said.

Jaspal was married to Prabhjot Kaur and had three children, while Gurjeet was married to Minto and had two sons.

Jaspal was going out with his wife to drop a friend while Gurjeet was returning from his restaurant accompanied by his personal security officers Vicky and Pawan Kumar, the police said.

Gurjeet came towards the side where Jaspal's car used to be parked and a fight started between the brothers.

Jaspal attacked his younger brother with a kirpan while Kumar opened fire at Jaspal.

Prabhjot, who stepped out to check, was also shot. Jaspal and Prabjot's son Jagnoor came out to check and was also injured in the fight, the police said.

Following the incident, Gurjeet, Jaspal and Prabhjot were rushed to the hospital, where they were declared brought dead, the police said.

Vicky and Pawan have been arrested and cases registered in the matter, the police said.
