Two children today drowned in river Ganga at Pachrukhia Ghat in Haldi area here, police said.
The incident took place when Sonu (6) and Ajit (7) slipped into deep water while taking bath in the river, they said.
While Sonu's body was fished out from the river by locals, search is on to find the other child, police added.
