Two Congress MLAs today met West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee, fuelling speculation that both might switch over to Trinamool.

The two - Congress MLA from Burdwan district's Katwa and Malda's Ratua, Rabindranath Chatterjee and Samar Mukherjee respectively - met Banerjee at her office in the assembly.

"Both of them are MLAs from other parties and have come to meet me regarding local issues in their areas," Banerjee told reporters of the sidelines of a programme.

While Chatterjee denied to comment about on the reason for his meet, Mukherjee scotched speculations and claimed that he is not going to leave Congress.
