Two policemen were arrested on charge of killing a man after picking him up for interrogation in Bargarh district of Odisha, a senior police officer said today.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Soumya Ranjan Patra and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Pitambar Behera of Bheden police station in Bargarh district, were arrested while two other police personnel were absconding.
The duo was today produced before the court of Additional Civil Judge (Junior Division) cum Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate at Birmaharajpur which remanded them to judicial custody.

The accused had allegedly picked up one Makhunu Bag (54) of Dekulaba village on July 17 this year for interrogation and his skeleton was found from a nearby jungle under Ulunda police station area on September 24.
Makhunu's son had filed an FIR against the Bheden police acusing them of killing his father.
"The DNA test on the skeleton confirmed that it was Makhunu's body. Subsequent investigation led to arrest of two cops," DIG, northen range, Pratik Mohanty said.
The DIG has also directed the Bargarh district SP to nab all the suspected persons involved in the case.
