Two persons were today crushed to death by a speeding bus on NH 31 here, police said.
The incident took place when Shivantu Sarkar and Chotu were replacing the tyre of their vehicle while returning to Nawada from Kolkata, Akbarpur police station in-charge Sanjeev Mahuar said.
The bus has been impounded but the driver of the vehicle managed to flee, Mahuar said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
