Two people died today when their motorcycle was hit by a car here, police said.
Aslam (35) and his uncle Ahmed Ali (45) had come from Badaun to buy some medicines when the accident occurred, superintendent of police (rural) Satish Kumar said.
The duo sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
The driver of the vehicle fled the spot, Kumar said, adding that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.
