Two teachers of Gurkha Middle School in Mizoram-Assam border Kolasib town were killed while other two persons were injured in a car accident inside Assam today.
Police said that the two teachers - Rajendra Kumar Thapa and Saraswati Subedi died on the spot while the car they were travelling collided with a trcuk on the National Highway 54 near Nutan Bazar in Cachar district.
The bodies were brought to Kolasib along with two other teachers injured in the accident.
The injured were administered first aid at the Gungur Medical College Hospital in nearby Silchar.
