Vigilance wing of Odisha today arrested two employees of Kendrapara district education office besides a retired employee for allegedly demanding and accepting Rs 1,000 as bribe from a woman.
The complainant Sashmita Samal had sought for school leaving certificate.
However, the trio had demanded bribe for the issuance of the certificate, a vigilance official said.

Harassed over extortion tactics, the complainant informed the vigilance sleuths. Accordingly a trap was laid. Ramesh Chandra Parija, senior clerk, Suryamani Panda grade four staff and Sarat Beura, retired senior clerk were caught red-handed while receiving demanded amount, the official said.
When the complainant Samal gave the chemical-coated currencies to the trio at the pre-determined spot, the sleuths caught them.
The accused employees were booked under various provisions of prevention of corruption act, said Additional Superintendent of Police, vigilance Cuttack Division, Basant Kumar Pattnaik.
They would be remanded to judicial custody tomorrow, he added.
