Two dreaded gangsters were arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police in connection with an extortion case.
The accused gangsters identified as Deepak aka Deepa Pehalwan and Ankit were held on July 10 when they were visiting an under-construction temple in Sultanpur Dabas village of Bawana in North-West Delhi, police said today.
The duo was now under police remand and they are being questioned, said DCP of Special Cell, Rajiv Ranjan.

Deepak and Ankit were members of gangsters Neeraj Bawana and Naveen aka Bali's extortion syndicate.
Earlier, Bali, Vishal Maan and Nizam were arrested by the Special Cell in a case which involved extortion from a native of Prahladpur village Anoop Singh.
An FIR was registered in this connection on January 24 at Shahabad Dairy police station in Outer district.
Deepak and Ankit were arrested as their involvement in the extortion case and some other similar cases were found out by Special Cell when the case was transferred to it.
Kingpin Neeraj Bawana and Deepak had studied together in class 6 at MD Public School, Bawana, in the year 2004-05 and knew each other since then, the DCP said.
