A court here today sentenced two persons to death and five others to life imprisonment in a 2004 murder case.
Prime accused Anilkumar, alias 'Jacki', and Ajithkumar, charged with hacking to death a man over personal rivalry, were handed down the capital punishment by Additional District Sessions Judge K P Indira who held them as a 'danger' to the society.
The Judge sentenced co-accused Binukar, Sura, Kochu Shaji, Binu and Kishore to life imprisonment.
The prosecution case was that the accused killed Jet Santhosh after abducting him here. Personal rivalry was stated to be the cause of the crime.
