Two Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDMs) in the district were transferred today by the administration.
District Magistrate Ministhy S transferred Prem Singh Ranjan from Loni to Sadar area, while SDM Sadar Atul Kumar has been sent to Loni Tehsil.
The transfers were a routine affair, Ministhy said, adding, there was no political pressure behind it.

Ranjan said his priority would be to recover ponds in the area grabbed by illegal occupants and land mafias. He said all water bodies will be identified as per land records and freed of illegal occupation.
To make the areas congestion-free, an-anti encroachment drive will be launched, he said.
Meanwhile, Kumar said all schemes of the state government will be implemented andan anti-encroachment operation will be launched.
