2 groups clash in court premises in Punjab

Two groups opened fire at each other over property dispute in District and Sessions court premises here today following which four persons were arrested by police.

The clash took place after hearing of the property dispute in the court here. An argument broke out between the two groups which was initally pacified by police present there.

However, after a while some more people joined in and the clash turned violent, police said.

The arrested persons were identified as Manu Suri, Deepak, Lal Chand alias Lali and Ghuna, they said, adding that two cartridgeswere recovered.

Police said search is on to nab the others who fled the spot.
 

Lali is a tenant at Manu's house in Aman Nagar locality and has lodged a case against him, he said.
