2 headmasters suspended over mysterious death of two students

The Headmasters of two government schools here were today suspended in connection with the death of two students under mysterious circumstances.

"The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, suspended two headmasters of Government Girls Middle School Lamber and High School Chamalwas after two students died under mysterious circumstances," he said.

The students - Tousef Ahmed and Ifra Nazir - died after taking iron pills being provided by the school.

Local MLA Vikar Rasool today demanded an enquiry into the incident and punishment for whosoever is found guilty in the case.

He also demanded testing of iron pills that are being given to students across various schools in the district.
